| To empty the ashtray, simply lift it up & out by the lip on the left side, dispose of the contents, then snap it back in.
To use the built-in cutter (which will cut cigars up to a 54 ring gauge), pull up on the non-blade end. The cutter is secured in the Ci-Garage by a handy inset magnet. To replace your cutter back in the case, simply place it right onto the magnet.
To save the rest of your favorite cigar, let it go out and then place it, with or without the coal, in the cigar-saving compartment (which will accommodate up to a 54 ring gauge). Then just shut the Ci-Garage. Neat. Easy. And oh-so-portable!
